Matanuska River Park, Palmer: Highbush cranberries are cherry red and good to snack on; tart. Serviceberries are nice and ripe or past their prime (shriveled). Soapberries are ripe. There are still watermelon berries to snack on.

Farm Loop, Palmer: Picked very ripe watermelon berries and rosehips. Highbush cranberry are very nice this year. Still tart.

Matanuska River Park, Palmer: Lots of really good red currants. Very tasty and ripe. Lots of half ripe highbush cranberry. Some nice watermelon berries. Also lots of soapberry and baneberry around. Also rosehips ready.

Farm Loop, Palmer: Wild roses have full blooms, some still buds. Lots of bluebells this year. Noticed lots of rose and bluebell in Anchorage too.
